Key Responsibilities
• Drive market entry and growth in Southeast Asia and the Middle East by identifying, targeting, and securing new corporate clients within defined industry verticals.
• Develop tailored solutions that align client needs with THE’s portfolio of events, data, content, and consultancy.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline, accurately tracking all activity and opportunities in Salesforce.
• Map the competitive landscape and monitor market developments to inform sales strategy.
• Represent THE at industry events and conferences, building relationships with senior leaders in government, academia, and industry.
• Collaborate across teams including events, consultancy, data, content, and customer success to deliver exceptional client outcomes.
• Act as a market voice internally, sharing insights to support new product development and identify emerging opportunities.
• Meet and exceed agreed sales targets.
About You
• At least five years of consultative B2B sales experience, ideally selling a portfolio of products and services such as events, data, advertising, or consultancy.
• Experience working across international markets; exposure to the higher education sector is an advantage.
• Proven success in building new markets or securing high-value new business.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, confident engaging senior stakeholders.
• Commercially astute, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working autonomously.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with Salesforce or similar CRM preferred.
• Flexibility to travel internationally as required
