Casual Research Data Handler
We're hiring data handlers to contribute to a large data collection process, collecting data from UK university websites, to help produce a database of all university financial awards.
CASUAL RESEARCH DATA HANDLER - 20 hours/ week
Hourly rate: £13 per hour
Duration: mid January 2026 - mid June 2026
Location: Remote (UK based, training can be done online but casual workers must have the right to work in the UK).

About the role
To contribute to a large data collection process, collecting data from UK university websites, to help produce a database of all university scholarships, bursaries and other financial awards.
Key tasks include:
Collecting information from university websites and recording the information in a set format in Microsoft Excel, according to the staff guide and training supplied.
Querying non-standard data entries with TKP staff to ensure a consistent approach and inclusion of required information only.
Communicating information on intended and actual hours worked in a timely manner.
Attending initial training session.
Responding to feedback and applying this in work going forward.
About You
Excellent communication skills and confident in raising queries
Familiarity with UK higher education system
Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel
Able to work effectively autonomously and to follow guidelines/instructions closely
Detail orientated; ability to input and check data thoroughly showing good attention to detail
